Gabe Nelson, a Washington, D.C. native, is a skilled communicator with a passion for the intersection of business, public policy and technology. He is a member of the Class of 2018 at Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business.

From 2012 to 2016, Gabe was a reporter for Automotive News, the business journal of the auto industry. During assignments in Washington, D.C. and Silicon Valley, he chronicled the rise of electric cars, autonomous driving and shared mobility. He was a co-recipient of the 2015 Jesse H. Neal Award for business journalism, recognizing his reporting on a deadly string of safety defects at General Motors. He previously covered environmental and energy policy for Greenwire from 2009 to 2012.

Gabe holds a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Michigan, where he was managing editor of The Michigan Daily.
